He has published several articles related to electric motor applications and energy efficiency, and is a regular presenter at conferences and training seminars.

Mark Nowak,  Market Development Manager for Water and Infrastructure at Thomas & Betts, has over 30 years of experience in the electrical industry. He is responsible for developing and maintaining technical literacy across the company to drive corporate growth in the Water and Infrastructure vertical markets.  The MDM is considered the strategic advisor providing technology-based education and insight to the management and executive team to drive sales for company proficiencies. The Market Development Manager must speak multiple business languages (IT, marketing, strategy, sales, and business development) to create new revenue streams, higher efficiencies, and faster time-to-market with clear and measurable results


Previously, he has performed in roles involving design, testing, sales, product management and marketing of products from T&B.

Neil Henry

Neil Henry is Functional Head of Materials Engineering and a Principal Consultant in ABB Engineering Services, part of ABB Global Consulting. He has over 35 years of industry experience in equipment failure analysis, root cause analysis and materials selection.

Throughout his career, Neil has maintained a hands-on approach to technical problem-solving in a range of industries and specializes in helping clients manage deterioration of increasingly aged process equipment. He works closely with a range of customers, industrial associations and regulatory authorities, including preparing and presenting papers at numerous international conferences.

Neil is a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining and a Chartered Engineer.
