Business Process Manager

Direct responsibility for SPEX (SAP Based Process Excellence) implementation and maintenance. Develop, maintain, control, audit and analyze a wide variety of business processes and information systems. Continuous business improvements along cross-functional disciplines. Formulate and define scope and objectives and develop solutions to complex problems involving applications, business analysis and SAP programming activities. Devise and implement measures to improve operations & quality and increase customer satisfaction.

Tasks:

1. Work closely with PG IT function to harmonize the way business is conducted by implementing & maintaining
SAP standard concepts (ETO)
2. Coordinate business process owners for front-end, engineering, production planning, controlling
3. Establish business process for Sales Order Costing and Production Order Costing sheets
4. Order configuration and engineering investigation, evaluation, recommendation to support the business processes and their implementation.
5. Design and implement cost-effective business processes using computer based solutions to business problems
6. Prepare, implement and improve order configuration and other sales configuration tools
7. Prepare future requirements for business engineering, marketing & sales and manufacturing changes.
8. Preparation of flowcharts, diagrams and specifications and co-ordination between programmers and business.
9. Investigate / prioritize business requirements to define scope and objectives of the projects and prepare schedules, limitations time and desired results.
10. Develop, prepare and implement processes that insure reduced cycle time, reduced overhead and improve over all process efficiency.
11. Prepare charts, diagrams, specifications and conduct related analyses.
12. Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve complex problems, and develop and implement measures to prevent reoccurrence along with devising modifications and recommend ways to improve.
13. Maintain, or provide guidance for maintenance of a wide variety of systems. Provide support; ensure accuracy of information and responsiveness to customers (internal & external requirements).
14. Lead and coordinate the work of less experienced staff and provide training and support to business process owners.

Requirements:

Requires broad knowledge of manufacturing operations, information systems, quotation tools, engineering, sales, marketing and their applications, and ability to influence decisions and cost-effectively provide cross-functional support. Requires strong analytical skills, initiative and ingenuity to solve complex problems and implement remedial measures. Requires strong communications skills to discuss and negotiate resolution of controversial issues. Errors may result in delays, rework and adversely impact customer relations.

- Knowledge – Business Process, Manufacturing, Engineering and Marketing & Sales consists of the investigation, evaluation, recommendation and support of Business processes and their implementation.
- Skills – Proficient with MS Word & Excel, ERP, and SAP systems
- Experience – Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or related fields plus at least 10 + yrs. experience.
