Production Supervisor

Tasks:

- Plan the work and allocation of resources to meet customer demands and adjust the capacity of the department accordingly.
- Manage the human resources, mainly activities related to hiring, integration, performance review, compensation, disciplinary records management and vacation planning.
- Manage employee development, support their growth and promote greater flexibility in the department.
- Take charge of health and safety by: Preventing risks of accidents at the source; Conducting monthly inspections or other activities of observation in the sector; Conducting incident investigations and initiating corrective actions; and Communicating and mobilizing the team toward a participation in health and safety related initiatives
- Participate and organize initiatives related to the continuous improvement of processes and assembly methods to improve performance in health and safety, quality, service and productivity.
- Manage any other related project or task.

Requirements:

- College diploma, or bachelor degree in operations management, or similar field.
- Experience in personnel management (group of 20-30 employees).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Knowledge of and ability to use various software (Word, Excel, integrated system such as AS400).
- Very good communication skills.
- Bilingualism English/French.
- Available for overtime.
