Software Designer

Tasks:

As a member of multidisciplinary project teams, you work closely with other specialists and you are responsible, for all technical aspects of projects aiming at developing analytical and remote sensing instruments for aerospace missions, defence & security or process analysis products.

As part of your responsibilities, you act as software designer within the software development team. The software development team is responsible for analyzing, designing, performing and integrating software solutions (Software and Firmware) of the company.


The qualified candidate will:

• Participate in project estimate phases.
• Participate in the functional analysis process.
• Participate in the development of software platforms.
• Participate in design and code review meetings.
• Participate in integration tests.
• Participate in the writing of documents:
• Interface documents;
• User manuals;
• Design documents;
• Etc...
• Participate in the product support, in conjunction with other departments.

Requirements:

The qualified candidate will have the following qualifications:

• University degree in software engineering or computer science with five (5) years of experience in software development
• Excellent knowledge of object-oriented design
• JAVA, C/C++ programming
• Embedded programming
• Knowledge of embedded environments (Linux/YOCTO)
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Self-starter, initiative, concern for quality and order, communication skills, team spirit
• Bilingualism
• Available for business travels
• Good spoken and written communication level
