Sale Engineer (Industrial Robotics)

Responsibilities: This position is responsible for fulfilling annual sale targets and developing market for industrial robot products and solution within industrial segments such as Food & Beverage, FMCG, Chemical & Pharma. The duties are included, but not limited to:

Tasks:

Market analysis (regionally/nationally)
• Ensuring market information is updated and documented in written form in provided system.
• Ensuring information is provided to Sales Manager about new influences in the market as soon as he/she becomes aware of them.
• Contributing to identifying and developing new and/or potential customers alone or in conjunction with colleagues as a member of a sales team.
Marketing (inc. marketing communications)
• Acting as marketing/salesperson of ABB’s Robotics products and systems when appropriate (trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings...)
• Analyzing customers’ needs to offer relevant solutions based on ABB’s Robotics product, system, and service portfolio.
Sales planning (inc. customer relations)
• Closely working with customers to identify new business possibilities and maximize potential opportunities with existing customers.
• Ensuring extensive and sufficient knowledge about the unit’s offerings and customers in order to facilitate the sales process vis-à-vis the customer.
Sales (inc. sales proposals and order management)
• Working with engineering team to work out the proposal both technically & commercially to meet customer requirement and expectation.
• Negotiating with customers to have business agreement upon margins, as well as ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction (NKI) throughout the sales process.
• Participating and contributing to various risk assessments in order to ensure the proper quotient between price and quality
• Fulfilling expected number of customer visits as established in consultation with the Sales Manager
• Maintaining updated customer database
Post-sales (inc. Service & Support)
• Ensuring business agreements are complied with and the deliveries of products (goods and services) are implemented on time at the agreed upon cost
• Organizing and coordinating post-sales marketing activities in collaboration with ABB Service for cross-selling opportunities
• Ensuring customer is satisfied, handling and regularly registering customers’ complaints a database, either by oneself or with the assistance of sales support.

Requirements:

Requirements:
Education: University Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or Automation.
Specific knowledge: Knowledge of automatic manufacturing system, processes & equipment. Knowledge about packaging process and equipment in the production line especially end-of-line packaging process.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in similar positions. Experience in working with manufacturing companies in Food & Beverage, FMCG, Chemical / Pharma is preferred.
