Tasks:

ABB Vietnam currently has an opportunity for a Business Development Specialist who would be responsible to manage market penetration and develop market share for solar inverters. Joining our team in Ho Chi Minh office and reporting to Product Marketing Director, your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:

• Manage market and sales activities for assigned market.
• Bring in sales for solar inverters in assigned market through 360 degree engagement of relevant authorities, end users and integrators.
• Identify and take necessary actions to overcome challenges for successful business in assigned market.
• Provide pre-technical support with clear understanding of product portfolio.
• Provide commercial and technical proposal.
• Maintain existing customers and grow potential markets available to develop new markets.
• Conduct and analyze necessary risks for sales orders.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should possess a degree or diploma in electrical/electronic engineering with minimum 3 years of experience in sales and marketing/business development for power electronics, renewables and solar system preferably. You should have good communication, analytical planning skills. Candidates with high drive for results and solution oriented approach, and having an ability to work effectively in a matrix organization across geographies and culture will be an ideal fit for this position.
