Tasks:

ABB Vietnam is seeking Sales Engineer, who would be responsible to plan and execute strategies to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets for sales of power generation automation solution and products. Based in Ho Chi Minh City and reporting to the Cluster Service Manager your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:

• Create plan and implement sales strategy and business development initiatives as per global strategies and allocated budgets.
• Identify opportunities to improve new and existing potential customer market and also build and maintain strong relationship with existing customer.
• Ensure that sales volume and profit target achieved within specific territory assigned and as per timelines.
• Coordinate with respective teams to ensure the flow of information including transactions, activities, leads, and market intelligence is followed.
• Identify and manage potential risks relating to contract agreements.
• Plan and conduct training and development program for subordinates.
• Ensure quality screenings of projects and share inputs.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics or instrumentation and control stream with minimum 8 years’ experience in sales and marketing. You should have knowledge of power generation process, experience in sales of power generation projects and service. The role would suit someone who has good knowledge of automation industry and products.
