ABB is a global leader in industrial technology. Established in Vietnam in 1993, ABB recently has around 900 employees working in three regions across the country to ensure nationwide presence of the ABB brand. The Head Office and Transformer Factories are located in Hanoi, High Voltage and Medium Voltage Power Product factories are in Bac Ninh, other branch offices are in Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City. ABB’s Power Grid division delivers products, systems, services and software solutions. The products mainly include high voltage products, transformers, grid system and grid automation. The major customers are power value chain serving utility, industry, transportation and infrastructure.

Tasks:

ABB Vietnam currently has an opportunity for a Product Sales Manager for PG division who will be responsible for the promotion of transformers products to sell and create market awareness. Based in Hanoi and reporting to Market Manager, your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and keep updating market intelligence, monitor market trends and requirements and share the same with relevant unit members.
• Initiate and analyze internal and external price benchmarking in each market.
• Analyze the product portfolio’s profitability periodically for short term and long term to ensure profitable price level.
• Implement product sales strategy as per market requirements, applications, and positioning and technology innovation assessment.
• Manage marketing activities, contribute to product launches and participate in product related activities including, promotional activities, seminars, exhibitions
• Analyze customer needs in order to define product sales strategy and thereby achieve advantages and benefits for customer.
• Participate in budgeting process.
• Prepare, track and monitor quotations in terms of volume of offers, won-lost analysis, pro-sales, etc.
• Facilitate and managing negotiations
• Organize and coordinate the post sales marketing activities in collaboration with service.
• Support with tools, quotations, etc. and participate in risk review.


Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have university degree in engineering with minimum 5 years of experience in sales and marketing. You should have strong command over English communication and computer literacy. This role will suit someone with good analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills.
