Product Marketing Manager to ABB Control Technologies

You will be part of Control Technologies Channel Sales, responsible for Control Systems product sales and marketing in Northern Europe and end-to-end customer responsibility on the Swedish market. We sell our products through internal ABB channels, as well as external system integrators who provide solutions for our end customers. Our most well-known product is ABB's flag ship DCS system 800xA but we also provide sales of Compact-, Freelance and ABB Ability MoM systems. The unit consists of approximately 25 employees, located in six different locations in Sweden, with Västerås and Malmö being the main offices.

Uppgifter :

Do you have the skills and drive to sell and market technically advanced products within Control Systems? If so, the Product Marketing Manager position is the right one for you. The role will provide you many opportunities and interesting challenges, both locally and globally, with the goal to lead tomorrows digital offerings for the industry.

You will get a broad role with various responsibilities, the possibility to work independently as well as together with passionate colleagues, some degree of travel is required.

Your primary responsibility will be product marketing for Northern Europe, to ensure that our sales channels has first hand knowledge about our product offerings and value proposals. You will manage the product portfolio and drive content marketing to ensure that our offerings are presented in the best possible way. Together with the management team and communication specialist, you will decide on communication channels, participation in exhibitions, fairs as well as internal events. Further, you will host customer demos and product presentations with the area sales team. You will also develop our demo facilities in Northern Europe.

In addition, you will also act as Digitial Lead for the business unit, where you will develop and support ABB's digital offering for Northern Europe. You will coordinate the Digital Lead on a national level together with our Digital Lead SE as well as with our business unit manager for Northern Europe.

Krav:

You are;
• Passionate about marketing and customers.
• Able to adapt to customers and situations.
• Customer oriented with a positive mindset
• A operational doer with a strategic touch
• An excellent team player who is independent and solution oriented.
• Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in Marketing or Sales, preferably within the area of Oil & Gas, Paper, Energy or Datacenter.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken alike.

In addition, it is an advantage if you have knowledge in 800xA, ABB Ability MoM, AC 500 and AC 800 systems.
