ReliaGear® SafeGear® LV Motor Control Center (MCC)

 

Smarter, smaller, safer, more reliable

Available as standard or as arc resistant solution per ANSI C37.20.7, the ReliaGear and SafeGear low voltage MCC brings new and unique features to the power distribution industry.
 
The ReliaGear / SafeGear LV MCC is smarter, integrating some of the most innovative
component technology in the world, from main elements such as circuit breakers,
drives and soft starters and control devices to terminal blocks, test switches,
compression lugs and even cable ties.  Emax2 circuit breakers are available fixed or withdrawable and offer a variety of automation and energy management functions including intelligent load-shedding and automatic transfer via IEC61850.  The Tmax XT family of molded case circuit breakers offers integrated protection and monitoring for power distribution and, in conjunction with a contactor, motor control.
ABB ACS variable frequency drives up to 250 hp (withdrawable) and 500 hp (fixed) respectively and PSTX soft starters up to 400 hp can be integrated into the MCC for the smallest footprint.  They offer industry-leading motor control functionality for maximum energy efficiency and motor service life.  The UMC100 intelligent motor controllers provides advanced motor protection, flexible motor control, diagnostics and maintenance. 
The ReliaGear / SafeGear LV MCC is safer through its innovative finger-safe draw-out design without mechanical shutters.  Starter and feeder modules can be removed and replaced quickly and without any tools and without the need to retest any power or control connections.  The risk of arc flash is greatly reduced through insulation and isolation in between phases.  The optional SafeGear LV arc resistant motor control center is fully tested to ANSI C37.20.7 and further upgrades the already high safety standards of our standard ReliaGear LV motor control center.
