Hyperspectral Imaging FT-Spectroradiometers Radiometric Accuracy for Infrared Signature Measurements

The "MR-i" Long Wave/ Mid Wave Imaging Fourier Transform Spectrometer (TF-S) is used in research applications such as remote sensing of battlefield conditions, bomb detonation and missile launches or muzzles flash phenomenology studies, chemical and biological agents detection/ classification and gaseous emanation plume monitoring as well as a variety of fast framing hyperspectral imaging applications. 

The "MR-i" imaging spectroradiometer benefits from the same MR304/ MR170 proven frictionless and rugged FTS design. It features high performance in the wide spectral range covering simultaneously the LWIR and MWIR region of the Electro Magnetic Spectrum while configured in its "dual-band" operational mode.

  • Self-configurable design and capability to integrate future technology enhancements supporting a wide range of measurement scenarios
  • Optical configuration optimized and combining an extended LWIR and MWIR spectral bands from 1.5 to 14 µm,
  • Modular and interchangeable Wide and Narrow angles input telescopes,
  • Co-boresighted visible CCD camera,
  • GPS system with digital compass for positioning and pointing,
  • Internal temperature monitoring system for stability control,
  • Computer controlled motorized focus adjustment and aperture stop diaphragm,
  • Integrated/ automated black body calibration sources,
  • Rugged field rack mount computer including removable hard disks for high storage capacity of data acquisition,
  • Computer linked via Ethernet and fiber optic cables,
  • Advanced acquisition control, calibration and data visualization software provided with a development kit,
  • 28 VDC or 110/220 VAC input power source interfaces,
  • Tripod and aluminum transportation case
