Consistency instruments

KPM consistency transmitters offer an application specific solution to manage and control consistency in the best possible way. From the comprehensive product range (rotary, blade, microwave and optical) the best solution for each application can be selected without compromise. All KPM consistency transmitters are unique innovative products, covered by several patents.

Retention measurements

KPM offers a retention measurement system for paper machine retention monitoring and control. KRT Retention package is applicable for paper and board machines with or without ash addition. KRT Retention package measures total consistency of the headbox and whitewater sample.

Pulp analyzers on-line

Modern optical techniques make it possible to analyze fibre properties. Since the measurements are automatic with good repeatability they are suitable for online measurements. If appropriate pulp quality properties are measured continuously in the process it is easy to see correlations with other things happening in the process and this enables taking correct actions.

Pulp samplers

KPM Samplers provide representative sampling from the process line safely. The samplers break through the water layer inside the pipe, eliminating dewatering from the sampling process. All samplers have a unique metal-metal piston and cylinder without o-rings or seals.

Pulp analyzers laboratory

Follow up your online measurements in a laboratory environment to ensure that the process is optimized. Our laboratory instruments analyze pulp quality by measuring fiber length, fiber width, shape factor, coarseness, vessel cells, minishives, local deformation and calculate fiber mixes.
