Generating the future

Power generation track

Our power infrastructure is undergoing significant changes in the way we generate, distribute, and consume electricity.    The growing demand for more sustainable energy as well as changes in the regulatory environment continues to propel the industry into adopting new technologies that will bring greater diversity to our generation profile and energy marketplace.

This session will address market drivers including the U.S. federal and state level regulations and policy changes that will impact the way we generate power.   We will also discuss examples of how adopting advanced distribution management, energy storage and microgrid strategies can enable this transformation to a more sustainable and reliable electrical grid.
