Steve Deskevich

SVP, Ventyx Energy Industry Solutions

Steve has over 30 years of experience in the power generation industry, covering nuclear and fossil, Information Technology support and technology strategic planning. He is currently responsible for Energy Industry solutions for software and technology services at ABB. 

Steve works with industry business experts, product leaders, and customers to understand strategic needs for customer business processes and formulates strategic initiatives to innovate ABB/Ventyx solutions. Prior to this role, Steve was Vice President, Generation Industry Solutions at Ventyx and responsible for solidifying Ventyx’s presence in nuclear power and non-nuclear power generation markets. 

Prior to joining Ventyx, Steve worked for Duke Energy for 28 years, holding operational and leadership roles with increasing responsibilities.

Pat Hayes

Business Development for Energy Storage Power Conversion Systems at ABB in North America. 

Pat has taught metering classes at the Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and is an active IEEE member. His experience includes more than 20 years of account management, project and technical consulting for the power industry. 

Pat has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Dakota.

Michelle Meyer

Product Marketing Manager at ABB for their Energy Storage PCS and Power Quality Solutions

Michelle is responsible for supporting business growth initiatives, market research, product strategy and messaging.  Her work has involved developing market strategies and intelligence analysis as well as product management. 

Ms. Meyer has a BA degree in Political Science from McGill University and a MSc in Politics Research from the University of Oxford.

In 2010 Assumed responsibility for ABB North American Solar Industry Segment Initiative.  The Solar Industry Segment Initiative is responsible for focusing ABB’s resources and efforts on maximizing ABB’s participation in the Solar Electric Power industry.  The responsibilities include developing a strategy that will allow ABB to be a leader in the industry, and contribute to the sustainable growth of the industry in North America by providing solutions across all divisions and business units of ABB.
