Join us to hear what is happening with the latest technology in the mining space, learn how augmented reality can improve outage times and understand how IT/OT can connect your mine for ultimate productivity gains.
ABB Ability™ Integrated Mine Operations
An overview on how today's technology can improve the visibility of your mine including:
Know who is completing which task and where they are.
Understand what equipment will allow you to access new levels of mine operations planning.
Allow planners to perform detailed analysis and monitoring remotely.
Combine your activity data to undertake performance analytics to improve efficiency your mine.
Translate control room data to boardroom information
In this session, we will discuss ABB Ability™ and show how it can provide:
Learn how ABB SmartVentilation controls the ventilation equipment according to the actual needs of the mine, for example, the location and status of vehicles and personnel, feedback from air monitoring stations, time schedule or even production schedules.
Did you know that mines can generate up to 50 percent in their ventilation energy savings per year by implementing a full ABB automated ventilation system?
In this session, learn how Augmented Reality (AR) can complement 24/7 phone support. AR enables accurate remote guidance for field Service engineers that help to shorten outage times and increases the first time fix ratio.
AR enables remote engineers to view the problem and projecting solutions direct to the service engineer in real-time.
Eduardo has over 13 years of experience in working with mining customers with specific focus in power and process automation. His experience spans from power and process control, plant asset management and operational management system. More recently, Eduardo has been heavily involved in short interval control and automated scheduling for integrated mine operations.
Eduardo holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree, an post-graduation degree in business strategic management and is based in Switzerland.
Paul has over 15 years of experience in offering complete Electrical Control & Instrumentation Solutions to mining customers across Australia. His experience not only relates to process control systems and electrical equipment for process plants but more recently also includes underground mining solutions. With the rising energy costs in Australia, Paul finds himself assisting more and more customers as they work to reduce their energy consumption with ABB’s ventilation on demand solutions.
