During opening day itself, the artistic activities will take place mostly on the two "Installationsplatz Rynächt" fairgrounds in the north, as well as be centered around the info center in Pollegio.

The folk festival will offer different experiences, productions by Swiss artists, an interactive exhibition about Gotthard, and other attractions. The multi-faceted show and musical program will contribute to the festive mood. Both the Uri and Tessin tunnel portal cantons will astonish above and beyond their culinary and cultural delights.

Gottardo Hike

Two day hike on existing hiking trails as close as possible alongside the tunnel route. While one hiking group started from the southern direction at Sedrun, the other group took the trail down from the north using their hiking boots. Folk Festival
