Welcome to ABB Power World 2016, the largest customer event of ABB’s power business in China.
This year, the third ABB Power World is held with the theme of “Leading technologies – smart solutions”. Under the backdrop of the fourth industrial revolution, ABB hopes to take this opportunity to discuss the latest trends in the power industry with representatives from the government, industry associations and academia, as well as our customers and partners. Meanwhile, we would like to showcase how ABB is spurring technological innovation via cloud computing and big data under the Internet of Things, Services and People (IoTSP), so as to help our customers from utility, industry, and transport & infrastructure achieve transformation and upgrading.
The 1,100-square-meter exhibition area of ABB Power World 2016 will showcase nearly 100 state-of-the-art power solutions of smart grid, new energy, energy management, shore-to-ship power supply and smart home, highlighted by a digital substation booth and an interactive exhibition corner. In the smart home experience zone, you will find out how science and technology will make life better and easier through virtual reality. In addition, ABB technical experts will lead the discussion of such hot topics as global energy interconnection, offshore wind power, and rail transport at three industry forums and over 60 technical seminars. Meanwhile, we will explore how we can support China’s Belt and Road Initiative in railway, road, power grid, oil and gas, telecommunications and port industries with the participants.
This year coincides with the 125th anniversary of ABB’s predecessor company, BBC. 125 years ago, our founders saw electricity as the pace setter for a new age. That vision, together with their pioneering spirit, laid the foundation of what ABB has become today – a leading power and automation company. With century-old heritage of technological innovation, ABB continues shaping the future in the new round of industrial revolution, providing more reliable, efficient and environmental friendly solutions to all aspects along the electrical value chain.
