Battery Chargers

This product family, made of Bordline® BC and PowerBriX® BC, includes low voltage power supplies and battery chargers designed for any railway application. They are based on silicon carbide (SiC) technology, which enables ultra-high power densities and achieves reference efficiencies of up to 97%.

These are real shelf products, meaning they are readily available and come with all the necessary documentation, validation tests, and user manuals. They are suitable for any battery technology, accommodating nominal voltages of 24 VDC, 36 VDC, 72 VDC, and 110 VDC.

Moreover, these power supplies can be powered from any 3-phase voltage in accordance with the EN 50533 standard or from a stabilized DC-Link with voltages ranging from 450 VDC to 750 VDC. They also support innovative low voltage distribution concepts to enhance power availability.

PowerBriX® BC 

The PowerBriX® BC battery charger is a flexible, compact, lightweight, and high-efficiency unit designed to charge vehicle batteries and supply low voltage DC loads. Up to 5 Bordline® BC units can be configured and installed together in order to meet any requirement in terms of voltage, current, power, and reliability.
