Transportaion & parking information

Due to construction at the George R. Brown Convention Center, we recommend that those driving to Automation & Power World 2015 park in one of the three lots identified below:

Hilton Parking Garage ($21/day)

  • Located to between Clay and Polk streets  
  • Connected to the George R. Brown Convention Center via sky bridge

Discovery Green Parking Garage ($12/day)

  • Located across Avenida De Las Americas from the George R. Brown Convention Center  
  • Due to construction, there will be pedestrian bridges at Halls B and D for access to the convention center

Tundra Parking Garage ($10/day)

  • Located near the Toyota Center between Bell and Leeland streets    
  • There will be shuttle service between the Tundra Parking Garage and the convention center

Shuttles

Shuttles are available to take attendees back and forth between the GRB convention center and their hotels. Drop off and pick up point at the GRBCC is at Hall E.

Exception: The Embassy Suites and the Hilton Americas have NO shuttle.

Shuttle hours to participating hotels:

Shuttles will run approximately every 20 minutes. 

Fri 5:30pm-10:30pm
Sat 6:30-11:00am and 5:30pm-10:30pm
Sun 6:30-11:00am and 5:30pm-10:00pm
Mon 6:30-11:00am and 5:30 - 11:00pm
Tues 6:30-11:00am and 5:30 - 11:00pm
Wed 6:30-11:00am and 5:30 - 11:00pm
Thurs 6:30-11:00am and 5:30pm

Shuttles to the Westin Galleria and Westin Oaks

Sunday, March 1 through Thursday, March 5
Buses depart the Westin Galleria at 6:30, 8:00 and 9:30AM
Buses depart the George R Brown at 5:30, 7:00, 8:30 and 10:00PM
Greenlink

A free, environmentally friendly way to travel!
There is Greenlink service at all APW hotels and the George R. Brown Convention Center.  Buses stop every 7-10 minutes.

This page is informational only and does not include access to the reservation system.

You must be registered for APW in order to secure rooms at the APW discounted rates.

Once you register for APW, your registration confirmation will include a link to reserve your hotel room. You must reserve rooms using this reservation link in order to guarantee the APW rate.  

The deadline for hotel reservations is February 6, 2015.
