We are looking for a junior Controller with the ambition to grow together with the P&L responsibility with flair for details and hands-on attitude. As Local Product Group (LPG) Controller you will be responsible for the financial management of the LPG following business, economic and financial principles to enhance financial return. You will act as business partner to the LPG Manager by supporting decisions, monitoring, analyzing and interpreting financial data in order to evaluate various business alternatives and recommend the most appropriate business solutions. The LPG offers and executes large sized projects with combining different offerings within the Grid Automation business.

Aufgaben :

• Support business planning definition, implementation and follow up according to Business Unit / Product Group strategies. Implement and follow-up on agreed operational and strategic measures
• Communication to management on financial performance and actions, responsible for the LPG balance sheet and income statement
• Acting as project controller in the tender stage and project execution. Identify and communicate commercial and financial risks and opportunities, currency exposure assessment and management, tax assessment and optimization. Maintain the full cost, cash and exposure calculation
• Support the tender risk review and project review procedures in line with global policies, responsible for the financial and commercial aspects of the projects
• Establish and oversee processes and tools to obtain transparent and reliable business information and ensure high quality of financial data in line with defined standards and financial closing schedules
• Responsible for the effectiveness and adherence to internal control procedures and for providing required documentation to internal and external audits
• Assurance of ABB Group reporting (Abacus) in line with USGAAP and ABB Group finance policies. Enforcement of ABB group charter and country specific finance directives and instructions

Anforderungen:

• Master or Bachelor degree in Business Administration / Finance / Economics (or similar) combined with 3 years of experience and successful track record in a project business environment.
• Strong financial manager with good knowledge of finance and control processes and tools (SAP and ABACUS Analyzer) and USGAAP.
• Good understanding of ABB’s international business and structure is of advantage.
• Team Player with strong influencing and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, German, other languages are an asset.
