***This is a Global role, which can sit in other countries such as Italy, Germany, India, and US*** ABB is seeking a Global Product Manager, Responsible for driving and implementing the Business Unit's Asset Performance Management business lines in power generation and water; from being able to articulate customer requirements to ensuring we have business model in place to support our customers. Drives of BU-wide business and presence relating to Asset Performance Management related positioning, adoption of offering by BU and customers, implementation and go to market, processes, competencies such as sales enablement, and virtual/ global organization.

Aufgaben :

Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Management -
• Manager of the Asset Performance Management business lines for power generation and water
• Establishes strategy for the BU / Sector, with buy-in from top regional and functional management levels
• Drives building industry specific content, portfolio go to market, external and internal thought leadership and positioning, internal business processes and organizational development
• Provides and owns the sales enablement and external positioning in industry
• Represents BU Asset Performance Management business internally and externally, and builds up team empowered of thought leaders with similar skill
• Ensures integration of greenfield business (EPCs, OEMs and End Users), working closely with key accounts team to build customer specific Asset Performance Management specifications or requirements.
• Builds global footprint for sales and fulfillment teams, working closely with sales and regional leadership.
• Maintains clear project, sales, and financial plan

Targets-
• Build the Asset Performance Management offering for the Power Generation and Water Verticals, leveraging internal and external channels
• Establish Asset Performance Management services portfolio roadmap, positioning and go to market planned in close alignment with division and other Bus serving power generation segment.
• Drives organizational and sales enablement plan, including core messaging
• Supports the identification of sales opportunities
• Keeps track of progress with strategic sales opportunities and customer account

Organization-
• Resides in the respective BU’s organization and is part of the Division IO team
• Will drive matrix organization within the Power Generation and Water BU

Dimensions-
• Establish portfolio roadmap and positioning
• Establish structure for Asset Performance Management business to succeed from sales to delivery
• Rolls out and takes to market Asset Performance Management
• Take business from $10 MUSD to $50 MUSD by 2021

Anforderungen:

Basic qualifications:

Bachelors Degree and 12 years’ experience in rotating machinery, or Product Management, or Power Generation, or Water, or Industrial Automation industry.

Preferred qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 12 years’ experience in Industrial automation, with knowledge maintenance services business models for energy segment.
• Familiar with industrial digital technologies and services.
• Change management skills and matrixed industrial organizations.
• High ambition level, does not give up and able to pivot.
• Technical knowledge of predictive maintenance and condition monitoring service industrial offerings
• Excellent communicator, able to tell a compelling story about asset performance management service in writing, presentations and speeches.
• Credible with our customers and our internal organization.
• Able to integrate different offerings and technologies.
• Able to think conceptually and communicate it practically.
• Analytical, knows to prioritize.
• Experience in internal or external consulting engagements with industrial automation and/or IoT customers.
