We are looking for an Assurance, Risk and Internal Controls (ARIC) Demand Manager for our Operations center in Dubai, UAE. Your role will help write the future by actively participating in building a new global Assurance, Risk and Internal Controls (ARIC) Center of Expertise (CoE). The CoE role is to support our internal customers and our ARIC team members across the globe in all matters for Assurance, Risk and Internal Controls. You will contribute to the establishment of the CoE by identifying and moving activities that can be done centrally from countries to the CoE.

Main Accountabilities

The position will give you the chance to:

• Contribute to the overall planning of centralization projects as well as standardizing and optimizing project approach

• Lead specific projects to move ARIC activities from countries to the ARIC CoE

• Become the single point of contact (SPOC) for the countries

• Effectively and efficiently perform the activities moved from countries to the ARIC CoE. These include but are not limited to:

• Take proactive correcting actions where improvements are needed

• Follow-up and ensure ARIC activities are performed on time and at the right level of quality

• Collaboratively work with your ARIC CoE team and stakeholders to:

• Standardize and streamline monitoring, follow-up and reporting

• Develop and report KPIs and adjust as facts and circumstances change

• Perform risk assessment to identify “Hot Spots” where action is needed

• Proactively develop reporting features in GRCM to eliminate manual preparation and ensure that reported information is readily available in the Group’s GRCM tool

Additional extraordinary accountabilities:

Ad-hoc internal control or related projects will include an analysis of the impact on the existing internal control framework as well as the implementation plan and then support and monitor that implementation and taking corrective action if deviations to the plan or quality of the implementation occur.


Functional Requirements and Experience:

• 8-10 years of experience in finance, audit, assurance, risk or internal control related areas
• A good understanding of assurance, risk and internal controls methodology and practices
• Good business knowledge and working experience in the areas of process improvements
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in a large multinational matrix organization implementing company-wide initiatives including ongoing monitoring of implementation and taking of corrective actions as required.
• Sound working knowledge of systems including change processes and data structures
• Experience with new technologies i.e. Data Analytics or Continuous Control Monitoring is a plus

Education and Professional Certification:

• University degree in finance, accounting, auditing, etc.
• Professional qualification equivalent to CPA/CIA/CISA
