You as a Technical Sales Support, MEA HUB will be a part of Industrial Automation Division, within the business unit Measurement and Analytics Business Unit based in Abu Dhabi. In this role you will be responsible for driving the Level business within the Middle East and Africa Hub for growth in the OAG, refining, chemical, power, water/wastewater, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, EPC, OEM, and other potential markets. This position includes serving as the principle technical and sales support resource for the local sales teams.

Tasks:

1. Maintain a close business relationship with key industry experts and end user decision makers / influencers.

2. Obtain/drive a monthly 90 day rolling forecast, a longer term strategic action/implementation plan, and a large project list for the region.

3. Promote specific Warminster & Quebec City PMU Level Products.

4. Product training to Local Sales Units and End Users to ensure strong product knowledge.

5. Train Local sales units to ensure sales tool competence, for example the PSA, INTENT.

6. Support regional trade shows.

7. Liaison between the end users, the local sales force, MEA HUB, and the Warminster & Quebec City PMUs for all product, sales, marketing issues.

8. Front-end and back-end order support including applications, product configurations, upgrade paths and supply chain issues.

9. Determine and drive local sales strategy with the MEA HUB sales manager, coordinate additional PMU support with the PMU sales manager, and serve as the primary communication channel for customized customer and system integration projects.

10. Assist with coordination and communication with respect to providing after sale services.


B. Specific Task Assignments:
1. The key internal point of contact for all sales of Warminster & Quebec City level products into the domestic markets within Middle East & Africa region.

2. Develop and execute account strategies with the local account managers. Set account strategies to include customer specific targets with estimated sales value, detailed action plans and action owners.

3. Present factory marketing material to local sales units and end users to promote products and solutions.

4. Travel with local sales managers and sales team to promote the level products within the Hub, determining specifications as needed, and supporting the local third party channels.

5. Sales support at the feed stage and bidding stage of projects.

6. Technical support to the PMUs including order entry clarifications, applications and configuration clarification.

7. Being the escalation point of contact for customer concerns.

8. Communicate opportunities to the local account management and driving project/sales for Warminster and Quebec City level products.

9. Responsible to meet / exceed the specific product sales targets for the region.

Requirements:

Ideally you should have Bachelors of Science with 5 to 8 years of work experience in technical sales experience. Must to have experience in technical, sales support, product, promotion and training with specific accomplishments in improving customer satisfaction and business relationships. Ability in understanding the ABB markets, customers and competitors, to become an indispensable member of the customers’ team and be their trusted advisor. The job role include more than 50% of travel and influence the regional sales team. Performance will be evaluated on annual sales result in the assigned territory. In the year 1& 2, the MEA TSS will report directly to the Global Level Sales Manager in Warminster and the Level Product Manager in Quebec City with administrative reporting to the Hub Sales Manager. In Year 3 of the role, reporting reverts in entirety to the Hub Sales Manager. Customer knowledge within Middle East & Africa region will be preferred.
