1. Accountable for annual Spare Parts Budget (OR, Rev, EBIT, OCF)
2. Bi-monthly actual and forecast financial reporting
3. Drive proactive growth of Spare Part offerings
4. Analyze Canada installed base and develop quotation packages per customer (i.e. price list)
5. Promote new Transformer Spare Parts products
6. Organize and generate Marketing Material to drive Proactive Spare Parts sales (i.e. Success stories/Case Study)
7. Assist reactive sales with processing of customer inquiries (including preparation of quotes)
8. Promote focus and collection of POs in a timely and accurate manner
9. Develop contacts with key Customers and within ABB (FES/other BUs) and key feeder factories
10. Define, coordinate selling price of Spare Parts with other local service centers (Edmonton, Brampton)
11. Discuss strategies with main sourcing factories and agree on action plans to cover main white spots
12. Maintain market price information by spare part product (provide feed-back to sourcing factories)
13. Assist with order handling, invoicing and cash-collection process
14. Resolve customer claims, includes developing resolution plans
15. Supervise direct and indirect resources
16. Promotes high integrity, ABB ethics and commitment to safety
17. Domestic and international travel required to visit Edmonton, Brampton, customers across Canada to promote business and key feeder factories in US and Europe
18. High availability, flexibility and sense of urgency required
19. Ability to work under time pressure
20. Management skills (supervise resources in multiple locations)


1. Bachelor of Sciences Degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering (Power Networks)
2. 7 – 10 years of experience (including 2 – 5 years in a service organization)
3. Technical knowledge of T&D (Power Transformers, Substations, Breakers…) with Marketing and Sales competences
4. Bilingual (Fluent in French and English)
5. Solid knowledge of MS Office and SAP
6. Good interpersonal skills with customers and co-workers extremely important
7. Accountable, Ownership, Energetic, Proactive (demonstrate high level of initiative, problem-solving and information seeking),
8. Team player and Customer Service oriented
