Tasks:

- Support business results by overseeing all steps of the service product portfolio including service product launch, pricing and its related profitability
- Provide technical and commercial support to the Drives & Controls sales force, channel partners and end-users via well prepared and delivered technical presentations. Act as a technical expert for Drives and Controls service products offering.
- Understand our installed base of products and market competitor landscape in order to develop a winning value proposition and market analysis.
- Promptly take ownership of resolving customer issues related to service products. Engage global product group if necessary
- Work with factories to develop or adapt our service product offering to meet specific market requirements. Main point of contact for all Canada
- Manage and deliver the product training programs
- Collaborate with internal marketing and sales management to define the marketing plan and activities to successfully growth our Canadian service business
- Visit customers to promote the portfolio
- Attend Trade Show
- Domestic and international travel will be required (Factory visits and support sales at customer sites when required)

Requirements:

- Electrical engineering degree with a minimum 5 years of experience in Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
- Knowledge of AC, DC and MV drives
- Good interpersonal skills with co-workers is extremely important. Team player & customer service oriented
- Strong sense of accountability & ownership combined with a high level of energy
- Demonstrate high level of initiative, problem solving and information seeking,
- Health and safety minded is a must
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Well-structured and organized in order to have a good time and priority management
- Availability to travel frequently – 30/40% of time
- High availability, flexibility & sense of urgency required
(Prepared to work outside conventional business hours when required)
- Ability to work under time pressure
