Tasks:

Reporting to the 5FA Program Manager, your key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

• Provide leadership and industry segment expertise to the Industrial Motion regional sales teams to penetrate further into the Water treatment industry in Canada.
• Determine key channel structures, trade organizations and buying influences within the segment who are necessary and targeted constituents to organize marketing, sales and channel development activities for accelerated market penetration.
• Work in collaboration with the Product Group Managers and the Regional Sales Management to design and drive the execution of a WWW strategic growth plan. Furthermore, ensure that the major accounts in the segments are identified and prioritized. Map market requirements and opportunities to actions for in collaboration with the regional sales teams.
• Ensure ABB’s value proposition for the segment is developed and well communicated to the regional sales teams
• Lead/Influence activities related to pursuing key projects within the segment including helping to define winning positioning strategies, acceptable and complete proposals with managed exceptions and increased sales specification influence within the industry.
• Coordinate with all the concerned Local Business Units to maximize ABB’s business for all WWW end user projects.
• Lead the marketing activities to promote ABB products/systems/services to End Users, Consulting Engineers, System Integrators and OEM’s active in the WWW market.
• Identify and represent ABB at key conferences, tradeshows and industry associations.
• Take ownership of the all WWW segment reporting for RMDR and RMMG: Drives, Motors, Service and MPT

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical or process engineering or equivalent.
• English language is mandatory. Bilingualism is preferred (English – French)
• 5-7 experience in the water and waste water treatment industry is required. The preferred candidates will possess sales knowledge/experience in the water treatment industry
• Strong interpersonal skills. Communicate effectively with customers, sales channels and ABB personnel. Ability to work at different levels within the organizations (internal / external)
• Understanding of the Multi-channel and segmented sales model.
• Product and market knowledge of Drives and Controls.
• Excellent presentation skills
• Act with integrity
• Independent thinker and self-starter mind-set
