Tasks:

As part of the RMDR Operation team, your key areas of responsibility include:

• Drive improvement initiatives towards a culture of Lean Six Sigma in order to enhance the customer experience and overall satisfaction across the value chain.
• Champion the Lean Six Sigma culture within the Canadian Drives business.
• Drive the ABB supplier’s performance and quality in order increase our on time delivery and reduce cost of project execution.
• Manage the procurement team and standardize the procurement processes.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationship for strategic component and perform supplier qualification audits
• Support proposal team in regards of sourcing large component for System proposal.
• Manage the Canadian inventory stock located in Montreal by developing the distribution strategy with Product and Product group management team and performing quarterly analysis.
• Support the global ABB quality, OpEx and sourcing and develop and lead the implementation plan locally
• Work with F team to set coherent targets across business, monitor progress analyze Key performance Indicators (KPI) and act on deviation from targets.
• Ensure that RMDR has an effective management system that addresses Quality and Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) practices with the operation and support ISO certification process.
• Work in collaboration with Transportation Management Center team in order to monitor the performance of our carrier.
• Support the execution team with transportation activities.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 5 years of experience in leading a team or relevant experience
• Quality Management background (3-5 Years +) or relevant experience with continuous improvement
• Sourcing and transportation background (1-2 years) or relevant experience in project execution.
• Excellent communicator (Bilingual English – French);
• Customer centric & quality driven mindset;
• Organized and structured with good time management skills;
• Negotiation skills
• Sense of urgency around problem resolution;
• Good leadership and team player;
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (a must to have)
