Tasks:

With the cooperation of the Supervisor, the tasks of the eventual mechanical designer are as follows :

• Perform layout drawings and 3D opto-mechanical design using Creo (Pro-Engineer) software (80%)
• Provide support for the integration and test activities (20%)
• Ensure compliance with technical criteria and consider the manufacturing constraints for the parts to be modelled or designed
• Design of test templates

Requirements:

• College diploma (DEC) – 1 year completed (mechanical design)
• Bilingualism (French and English)
• Practical knowledge of PDM software
• Knowledge of mechanical drawings and geometric tolerancing standards (ASME Y14.5M)
• Knowledge of engineering hardware
• Knowledge of Pro-E Wildfire
• Experience in technical/engineering drawing (2D)
