Data and Content Coordinator

Tasks:

This incumbent is responsible to coordinate and execute data integrity from item creation to enriched content for assigned products and/or language (mostly French). Key elements will be streamlining data into common formats and databases used by internal and external customers, collaboration with multiple departments and industry associations (i.e. Product Management, R&D, Technical Documentation, Feeder Factories, Marketing, IT, IDEA/IDW, UNSPSC/IGCC, ETIM, etc.).

• Work with appropriate department to collect information to initiate new item creation in appropriate system and manage work flow to timely completion, including report preparation on status and process management.
• Develop, enter and maintain complete product information, including but not limited to normalized descriptions, UNSPSC/IGCC and ETIM classification, attributes, as well as connection to associated assets created outside the team that represent the products such as images, technical data sheets, videos, brochures, etc. in appropriate systems/applications.
• Manage timely data entry, uploads and downloads in various databases – insuring high degree of accuracy, appropriate approvals and change history.
• Insure data aligns to current structure needs, industry standards and best practices for various databases. Harmonization, normalization and optimization are critical.
• Drive consistency and continuous improvement of data content, processes and tools/systems. Continually enhance existing solutions to meet changing digital and industry requirements. Incremental improvements to positively impact user experience.
• Develop and maintain product specific attribution guidance documentation for assigned products, including input from product management.
• Interface and coordinate efforts between various departments for data integrity across all systems.
• Work with other departments to collaborate on process improvements and streamline workflows.
• Push data to approved sources. Examples include but are not limited to tnb.com, TNB Access, ABB Products, ABB Image Bank, ABB Library, IDEA/IDW, Configurators, etc.
• Provide reporting and analysis as it relates to data integrity and current projects. Push findings and recommendations to product management and others as appropriate.
• Complete ad hoc analysis and reporting as required
• Complete system testing as required.

Requirements:

• CEGEP or equivalent with an area of study in business administration, marketing or similar discipline
• 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Must be detail oriented
• Must understand the importance and benefits of good data quality
• Ability to learn / understand product offering to drive data content maintenance and enhancements
• Collaborative team player
• Bilingual French/English
• Good technical and analytical skills, with proficiency in advanced Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Sequel Navigator (SQL), and associated business tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, to hit tight deadlines, and take initiative on multiple projects.
• Proven electrical industry experience and product knowledge.
• Knowledge of Industry Standards (UNSPSC/IGCC, ETIM, etc.).
