• Review customer inquiries
• Assist customers and sales representatives by answering general technical inquiries
• Review customer Requests for Quotes (RFQ) in collaboration with Sales & Product Management
• Communicate with engineering for quote requests and attend weekly production meetings
• Based on guidelines, set price level and prepare formal quote in appropriate system
• Work with customer service to ensure accurate order entry
• Proactively check ship dates of projects and communicate any delays to customers/customer service
• Follow-up on open quotations with sales representatives
• Support sales team with sample & catalogue requests and provide administrative support as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned


• Bachelor in administration degree or College administrative diploma
• Electrical and/or ABB low voltage products knowledge, an asset
• Strong sales and customer service orientation; at least three (3) to five (5) years of customer service experience.
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail;
• Strong communication and people skills, team player
• Ability to utilize well defined procedures and methodology and make suggestions for improvements
• Highly computer literate: fully familiar with Autocad(2015), Microsoft Office applications, Lotus Notes, working knowledge of SAP & TOPS is an asset
