The Quality Assurance Coordinator ensures the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the integrated management system (IMS) and its processes throughout the value chain to improve customer satisfaction and enhance the profitability of the business unit in a safe environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification and quality management system.
• Participate in setting priorities and quality targets with the local management team.
• Monitor progress, analyze key performance indicators (KPI) and act on deviations from targets.
• Manage customer complaints.
• Manage internal and external non-compliances (customers/suppliers).
• Manage the implementation of corrective actions and communicate information to stakeholders.
• Prepare and conduct internal audits.
• Analyze and participate in the resolution of production problems (related to quality) with the goal of raising organizational standards.
• Write and control quality documentation and ensure continuous improvement of ways to do business.
• Compile and write various monthly reports related to the quality of operations.
• Ensure adherence to quality, health and safety standards.
• Cooperate in an efficient manner with all other departments.
• Organize and facilitate team meetings (management review).
• Coordinate external audits (registrar/customer/suppliers).
• Handle good returns (defect analysis, reports).
• Perform all other duties related to the position.


• Certificate or DEC in quality assurance, continuous improvement or engineering, or equivalent certification
• 3-5 years experience in quality management or quality assurance
• Knowledge of ISO 9001: 2015, Process Documentation
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and good statistical knowledge
• Leadership, rigour, learning abilities, teamwork, ability to perform multiple tasks and set priorities
• Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma is an asset
• Senior auditor certificate ISO-9001-2015 is an asset
• Advanced written and spoken bilingualism (English/French)
