Large Motors and Generators is looking for Global Product Group Operations Planner to execute S&OP Operations planning process, act as operational data administrator and facilitate improvement activities throughout the Product Group value chain.

Your responsibilities

  • Own Global Sales and Operations (S&OP) Operations Planning process in Large Motors and Generators (LMG) Product Group (PG) and maintain Master and Transaction Data (inc. Inventory data, Operational reporting data, etc)
  • Measure, report and drive improvement of LMG Operations Planning process quality, execution and monitoring and develop visualization of S&OP business process
  • Maintain the S&OP Handbook in co-operation with Global S&OP Process Owner
  • Coordinate the creation of Global Operations Plan based on Global Demand Plan for full PG portfolio in close cooperation with plants
  • Support Global and Local Operations by providing guidance on Operations Planning process activities e.g. planning parameter updates and resource modeling
  • Partner with Product Management, Global and Local Operations and stakeholders to develop best practices for Operations Planning
  • As the LMG PG Operations Planning Super-User, represent the PG and contribute in cross-division Operations Planning Super User community by developing advanced planning solutions and sharing best practices
  • Support factories and Global organization with planning process development and tools implementation in order to assure World Class Operations

Your background

  • A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a science or engineering discipline and work experience in planning or operations field at least 5 years
  • Capability to interface with technical and business experts and perform as a productive team leader and individual contributor in a matrix organization without direct subordinates
  • Sense of urgency for change and improvement and a balanced approach to risk taking and achieving results
  • Ability to mentor, impact and facilitate lean culture change
  • Motivation in taking initiatives from concept to action, and delivering positive results
  • Self-driven and motivated, upwardly mobile and able to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data, draw conclusions and make suggestions for improvements
  • Executive level communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken)
