• Grow the Electrical business in the Oil and Gas market sector by using current market data, fully defining the offering and go to market strategy including compelling value propositions • In conjunction with the Sales & Marketing teams, identify Electrical opportunities, develop marketing materials and drive Sales leadership • Work closely with Operations teams in the formulation of delivery models and solutions that meet Business and Customer requirements • Interface with the BU and position UK LBU as a knowledge Centre for Electrical offerings • Owns relevant HUB/LBU Growth initiatives

Tasks:

ABB People:
• Effectively manages multifunctional interfaces - internal, customers and suppliers
• Effectively leads virtual teams to deliver assignments and project deliverables
• Manages own personal development
• Oversee the development of competitive/compelling commercial bids
• Develops beneficial relationships with external organisations

ABB Organisation:
• Understands competitive position of team and marketplace and uses this knowledge to influence tenders
• Identifies and supports sell on and pull through opportunities to other ABB functions
• Seeks opportunities to enhance margin performance

Customer:
• Works with the Customer to shape and define solutions based on a good understanding of their technical requirements
• Innovates with the Customer to deliver strategic relationships
• Shapes and aligns functional offer to best meet Customer needs
• Ability to navigate and establish strong relationships at all levels within the client organisations

Requirements:

Essential
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience within Industry in Sales &/or Operations
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Excellent communications skills
• Excellent leadership/development skills
• Safety Leadership, set’s high standards for all Safety, Health and Environmental issues
• High level of Self-motivation

Desirable
• An understanding of Offshore working methodologies
• Strong influencing skills
