Tendering Engineer responsible for tendering activities within the EP Service offering.

Tasks:

ABB Organisation
• Responsible for producing on time tender submissions
• Production of high quality, accurate quotations
• Where appropriate maximize the opportunity to pull through other ABB product line and service offerings to support the sales process.
• Effective customer negation during tender process
• Achievement against set KPI’s and agreed personal objectives
• Ensure timely responses to business information and support requests
• Develop a strong relationship with the Focus Feeder Factories supporting UK market growth strategy.
• Accurate reporting and forecasting of opportunities
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of ABB sales and tendering tools to ensure accurate forecasts can be collated and submitted.
• Flexible in the working pattern as this role involves flexible working hours and travelling between ABB locations

Requirements:

Essential
• Experience in related industry
• Tendering experience
• Ability to work to timescales and deadlines
• Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas to visit Focus Factories and customers as required
• Self-motivated/Dynamic
• Creative approach to developing new business
• Systematic approach and process orientated

Preferable
• Service experience
• Formal commercial training
• Sales experience
