The Regional Export Sales Manager – Analytical is responsible for growing sales in several countries across Europe and the Middle East for a broad product portfolio of analytical instrumentation in multiple industrial and utility markets.

Tasks:

• To be the primary point of contact for ABB Local Sales Units (LSUs) for all commercial and product support matters;
• To be responsible for the sales budget for four main product offerings: water analysers, combustion gas analysers, recorders & controllers and integrated systems;
• To develop coherent business plans for the region for each of the product offering in conjunction with the LSUs;
• To provide regular reporting on progress and market trends and competitor activity;
• To provide technical sales support for LSU sales opportunity;
• To develop and execute a visit plan for the region to aid with key customer contacts and project opportunities;
• To ensure that LSUs receive product sales training for sales personnel and technical training for service personnel

Requirements:

Essential
• Fluent in English
• Highly experienced in selling industrial instrumentation
• Strong knowledge of utility & power markets for instrumentation in key Middle East markets
Commercially astute
• Strong team-working and people skills

Desirable
• Fluent in Arabic
• Experience of large account management
• Experience of selling large systems to EPCs
• Hands-on experience with ICA (instrumentation, control and automation products and systems)
