Our Business Unit High Voltage, a leading global player in high-voltage products and applications with 29 global service locations worldwide, is seeking an experienced Supply Chain and Operations professional to support our global Customer Service business. In this high-impact role, you will be in charge of setting, leading and executing a business excellence project for the procurement, sourcing, purchasing, logistics, warehouse management, and operational excellence of our Product Group “Service”, in the context of the growth initiatives of our Power Up program. The location is flexible, the role can be based at several European locations, preferably CH, DE, IT or SE.


- Define a detailed project charter (with goal, scope, team, schedule and business case) in line with the expectations of the Service & Power Up Management and other affected Stakeholders in order to drive:

- A supplier consolidation across European Product Service Centers to optimize quality, delivery and cost and to mitigate risks.

- The re-design and implementation of a Supply Network (warehouse, distribution centers) to deliver parts and field testing equipment, in coordination with SCM & Power Grid Service, to reduce transportation costs and improve service to Customers.

- Lead and coordinate a cross-functional project team (including resources from Supply Chain, OpEx, Operations, R&D and Product Management) to execute the project in adherence with the defined charter.

- Take on full responsibility for the on-time and to-budget delivery of the project deliverables.

- Perform project reporting and reviews with Management.

- Manage Stakeholder relationship and carry out an effective communication with business Partners and internal Customers throughout the entire project.


- University degree, ideally in electrical engineering or related disciplines. Technical knowledge of power transmission products is highly desirable.

- 7+ Years’ professional experience in procurement, sourcing, logistics, and/or operations in an international organization in the power and automation industry, preferably with work experience in different countries.

- Excellent skills in project management as well as planning and reporting, standardizing and developing tools and processes in a multi-business and multi-regional organization.

- Ability to lead a “virtual” (dotted-line) cross-functional team in a matrix organization across multiple locations and countries.

- Superior negotiation and Stakeholder management skills in a multicultural and dynamic global business environment.

- Strong communication skills paired with intercultural sensitivity.

- Extensive experience in change management with proven ability to affect transformational change across a range of operational areas.

- Excellent written and spoken English.
