Tasks:

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for following activities:

• Design engineering solution, including drawing and calculation according to specification.

• Contribute to design review and design verification, modifies design as necessary.

• Identify variation request to support contract claim.

• Follow work plan and cost estimate for work in one’s area of responsibility and ensure quality deliverable on time and at targeted cost.

• Complete risk and opportunity assessment and the implementation of resulting actions in one’s area of responsibility.

• Report any contract/quality/program/cost issues to management for resolution.

• Attend project meeting and present specific aspect of design assignment.

• Collaborate with the supply chain function, review vendor documentation, prepares RFQs, provide design related evaluation of proposal for standard material and equipment.

• Assist in communication with customer pertaining to specific project design assignments or meeting.

• Use standard process and tool, assist in developing new process and tool for reuse of technical solution.

• Provide support and direction for entry level team member, which may include trainees and intern.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

• Minimum 4 to 5 year of experience in design activities preferably in transformer industry.
