ABB offers products and solutions for low voltage solutions to connect, protect, control and measure a wide range of electrical systems for all major industries, including the residential sector.

Tasks:

We are seeking a Service Sales Specialist to join our team in Malaysia who will be responsible to drive service sales process in collaboration with Service Sales Manager and Service Manager. Generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated area. Build long term customer relationship and ensure immediate response to specific customer needs and issues.

Reporting to the Service Sales Manager, your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:

• In collaboration with Service Sales Manager and Service Manager implement Service sales strategy. Penetrate installed base IB, promote various upgrade, retrofit and value add solutions to the benefits of customer.
• Regularly update installed data base in ServIS (the approved Service database) with the changes made at site.
• Utilize ServIS to understand the existing installed base (IB), identify and develop sales opportunities for service products and solutions to penetrate the existing IB/new IBs in market.
• Generate service sales leads and develop new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identify and explore potential new service portfolios.
• Establish long term customer relationship by understanding customer requirement, application regulation and demonstrate in-depth technical service product/solution knowledge to promote Life Cycle Management.
• Sell entire service product portfolio to expand ABB footprint in the designated area. Chart out and monitor sales proposal, tender and follow up proposal statistics
• Act as marketer/salesperson of ABB’s service products and solutions during marketing activities

Requirements:

Key requirements include:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• 0 to 3 years of experience in related field
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
