Tasks:

We are seeking a Technical Service Specialist to join our team in Malaysia who will be responsible to ensure the service portfolio is delivered effectively according to standard process. Proactively communicate both with the customer and ABB sales team to ensure customer needs are understood and business opportunities utilized for service growth.

Reporting to the Service Operation Manager, your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:

• Provide technical support and solve problems in own expertise area via remote or on-site service in any service category, Investigate customer need through professional consulting.
• Provide technical consulting on service solution to management and customers.
• Determine effective service application, equipment and method to develop, market or manufacture new service offering to respond to customer requirement cost effectively.
• Manage customer relationship and maintain regular contact with key customers and identify new sales opportunities, conduct specialist support and advisory service for sales team.
• Prepare all document and report to be signed by the customer representative. Report work done in a timely manner and follow up when needed.
• Proactively identify suggestion for product and quality improvement and provide recommendation to management to improve operation and customer service.
• Provide technical specialist leadership and coordination for the service
team. Coordinate the work of internal and external technician and assign them specific task related to service needs.

Requirements:

Key requirements include:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 2 to 4 years of experience in related field
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
