Electrification business offers a full range of distribution solutions to connect, protect, control and measure a wide range of electrical systems for all major industries, including the residential sector. Its offering - covered by the five business units below - includes building products, protection and connection, electrification solutions, installation products and distribution solutions.

You will be responsible for the sale of cutting-edge ABB data center segment for Electrification business in Malaysia. Reporting to the Channel Manager, you will use your experience and drive to build long-standing customer relationships, identifying effective solutions for customer needs.

Your responsibilities

  • Driving sales volume and margin across the Electrification portfolio.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships through excellent service and your knowledge of customer needs and ABB solutions.
  • Preparing sales plans and bids, with marketing and other departments, ensuring technical and financial accuracy.
  • Exhibit good knowledge of data center segment, customers and projects in allocated market.
  • Contributing to the identification and development of new market opportunities in collaboration with the wider Sales team.
  • Monitoring customer and market trends to develop effective marketing activities in collaboration with the Marketing team.

Your background

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • More than 5 years of experience in experience in electrical industry (Switchgear and UPS) as well as segment / application knowledge in data center market.
  • Broad understanding of direct sales to large customers, EPCs, Telco, data center customer.
  • Technical knowledge of switchgear and UPS.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong communication and negotiation skills.
