Tasks:

In this role, your main responsibilities will include:
1. Volume and profit: Selling Network Control systems and services to customers, focusing on assigned volume, mix and profitability targets for the Business Units
2. Customer relations: Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs. Promote customer understanding of full systems and services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
3. Sales plans: Preparing sales plans using company tools. Perform regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.
4. Sales: Creating added value for the customer, ABB and ensure the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques. Communicate details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments and general terms & conditions).
5. Marketing: Ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers
6. New market opportunities: Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated Saudi Arabia market and ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
7. Administration: Managing administrative procedures in sales processes, and support collection and project management activities when needed.
8. Offer preparation: Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager. Ensure appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
9. As a Senior Sales Engineer-Network Control, you will be responsible for market development and sales of large SCADA products, specifically Network Manager SCADA/DMS, SCADA/EMS, SCADA/GMS, Outage Management and related systems and services within the Saudi Arabia market in accordance with the strategy of Grid Automation. The objectives are to build long term customer relationships and manage solutions to specific customer needs and issues, while identifying, developing and closing sales opportunities.

Requirements:

Ideally you'll hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant Sales qualification coupled with at least 5 years of experience in sales of Network Control large SCADA system solutions, meeting sales targets and increase value for the company. Your knowledge of providing a selling solution to meet customer requirement will make you an ideal fit for this role. Fluency both in Arabic & English communications is required.
