As a Sales and Marketing Manager for Power Grid Integration Business Unit, you will be accountable for defining and implementing sales and marketing strategies for Asia region to achieve the key qualitative and quantitative targets in a profitable way and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Tasks:

Reporting to the HUB Manager, your key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

• Establish marketing and sales targets and ensures their achievement through regular oversight, and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed.
• Evaluate potential new and existing customers and their needs and lead the team in a proactive post-sales approach with a focus on solutions.
• Oversee market, competitive analysis and market segment definition activities, ensuring the market is monitored by developing and maintaining efficient marketing tools.
• Responsible for planning and implementing customer surveys, analyzing and acting on the results in order to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Ensure achievement of sales volume and product mix targets by setting appropriate price and margin for individual sales opportunities. Manages ongoing costs.
• Monitors client financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams. Responsible for identifying and managing risks relating to contract agreements and prices across customers/channels.
• Oversees the marketing and sales processes, and all relevant training and development plans, actions and programs.

Requirements:

Knowledge & Skill

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Minimum 12-18 years’ experience in the Power Sector, with power system and substation knowledge
• Proven marketing and sales experience in Asia region
• Leadership skill to lead a team of 15-20 employees, operating from different locations
• Experience in process and project management in a corporate environment with multiple stakeholders
• Solid analytical skills and business judgement, e.g. to effectively structure in-country white space pursuit analyses and follow-up

Candidate applying for this role should have an assertive personality with strong influencing skills and ability to act as coach to sales manager.
