As a Senior Solutions Consultant - Enterprise Software you will be required to work as part of the sales team, working closely with the sales reps and account managers in articulating the business value and solution offerings of ABB to customers and prospects, to effectively support the sales pipeline and achieve revenue targets, across APAC.

Tasks:

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager your key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

• Assist the regional sales team with presales support in new business and customer growth strategies which are directly related to revenue generation
• Participate in the development of sales strategies for new business and customer growth, and assisting to implement these as successful sales campaigns
• Present ABB’s solution across the ABB’s Industry Verticals and across all levels of the prospect organization
• Undertake prospect ‘Discovery’ including research, calls, and face to face workshops, to uncover key business drivers and customer buying criteria. These may be done with Sales reps, other SCs or independently.
• Maintain knowledge of ABB solutions, and an in-depth knowledge of Works management solutions.
• Lead a sales opportunity, from an SC perspective, participate in ‘Discovery’ and communicate and coordinate with other BSC’s and ABB stakeholders to complete tenders and demonstrations
• Mentor or Educate Professional Services Consultants and partners in order to impart industry and product positioning, to enhance their skills for pre-sales assistance
• Maintain a knowledge of the broad industry software category they specialize in, including competition strengths and weaknesses

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 5 and above years’ of experience in presales for complex product selling in large corporates.
• Experience with ABB solutions and/or working within the Utilities domain providing:
• Required to have or be willing to attain technical knowledge in order to construct and present ABB’s business solutions, perform demonstrations and answer tender responses
• Expert IT skills in MS-Office products, and Internet usage.
• Ability and desire to work with all levels of an organization from user to C-level executives
