ABB Energy Industries drives growth for customers while supporting safe, efficient and profitable operations with strong global execution capacity, an extensive service footprint and capabilities, and innovative digital leadership.

You will plan and ensure execution of Division, Business Unit or Product Group sales strategy for Digital Solution in Industrial Automation; Energy Industries at Singapore, engaging Singapore EDB, and securing government grants to support our digital initiatives/projects.
Reporting to LBL Manager you will develop strategy and core technical skills to grow Digital ABB Singapore cluster and support Asia HUB Digital business growth.

Your responsibilities

  • Driving market and pre-sales initiatives of digital solution for identified key accounts in Oil and Gas, Chemical and Refinery, Power and Water verticals.
  • Taking full ownership and responsibility for the achievement of a significant digital sales target.
  • Engaging in digital strategic account planning, coaching and enabling of key account teams and driving sales operating rhythm for digital pipeline.
  • Engaging in business discussions with senior customer leaders who set vision and direction, elevating the digital profile of ABB within customer organization. Identify and develop digital opportunities and build partnerships with customers.
  • Guiding and supervising digital project execution, coordinating hub and global resources.
  • Building up competency for focus areas (training for ABB team; local partner resource pool).
  • Supporting business in understanding and onboarding new digital solutions.

Your background

  • Qualified degree with extensive experience in digital solution sales at the enterprise level and large project pursuit team leadership.
  • Experience within software development lifecycle (design, architecture, development and deployment) or IT technical sales is desirable.
  • Experience in internal or external consulting engagements with industrial and/or IoT (Internet of Things) customers.
  • Knowledgeable in regulatory aspects for various domains such as information security & cloud deployments.
  • Able to articulate a vision for customer’s digital journey based on knowledge of customers’ business and ABB offerings, providing clarity on ultimate destination and a stepwise plan for getting there along with architecting the commercial models to enable the plan.
  • Disciplined, analytic, structured and highly committed to the results.
  • Strong coach that helps develop enterprise digital sales expertise.
  • Strong connection/network with related customers and EDB Singapore.
