Tasks:

ABB Is seeking for a Chemical Technologist,
Basic Function: Under general guidance of supervisor or senior engineers, perform various professional assignments requiring application of standard engineering principles and practices related to chemical composition of natural gas and associated analytical measurement equipment. Use computers and selected programs for such matters as preparing reports and conducting analyses.

Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Perform various engineering tasks involving such functions as analysis, design, development, test, installation and service, while working from instructions, drawings, proposals, specifications, and other pertinent information.
• Prepare specifications and related documents in accordance with requirements, established formats and general instructions. Review and analyze a variety of engineering data, documents and reports.
• Consult with other engineering groups to ensure that specified engineering criteria are suitable for the proposed application, and recommend revisions, as appropriate.
• Plan, conduct or coordinate relatively straight-forward engineering analyses and tests, and prepare related reports and summaries, for review. Participate in the investigation of technical problems and the establishment of procedures and corrective


Requirements:

Basic qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience with chemical technology.

Preferred qualifications:
-Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or Engineering and 5 years of experience with Chemical Engineering.
• Familiarity with chemical processes and chemistry involves with Natural and Process Gas Analysis.
• Familiarity with Gas Chromatography or Spectrometers in a lab setting.
• Experience working with instrumentation in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Application knowledge of refining processes as they relate to process analytical measurements.
• Knowledge of gas samples, blending, and sample handling systems.
• General electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to write and revise Standard Operating Procedures, Test Methods, and Validation Protocols. Evaluate test data against product requirements to determine final inspection of product
