Remote Service Support Engineer

Tasks:

• You are responsible for the second line service on our fast chargers. You offer remote support to our local service teams around the world.
• You assist local teams and suppliers with the installation and commissioning of our chargers.
• You offer advice on complex electrical or mechanical problems based on data obtained from our service systems connected to the chargers via the cloud.
• You create and update solutions and instructions to be used by the service teams worldwide.
• You keep a close eye on the performance of the charger, and based on data analysis, you loop field issues back into R&D and factory.
• In the case of complicated problems, you go into the field yourself to solve remaining problems.
• Performs medium to high complex Service tasks like installation , commissioning, maintenance, upgrades and retrofits, repair independently, identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity in different Service categories (installation and commissioning, maintenance, extensions, replacements, upgrades and retrofit, end of life service etc.).
• Ensures customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to customer order and expectation. Creates and maintains a good relationship with customers and understands their needs. Identifies new sales opportunities and takes influence in convincing the client for the complete service portfolio.
• Proactively identifies potential equipment failures and proactive corrective actions. Troubleshoots complex equipment failure and makes recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future.
• Proactively identifies suggestions for product, quality and customer service improvement and discusses them with management for changes

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in a technical field, for example Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics or IT.
• 8 years minimum total experience in engineering, computer engineering or other field technical services related to electrical or electronic equipment
• You have experience in maintaining and / or designing electromechanical installations.
• Affinity and experience of Linux software.
• Working Knowledge of OCPP is a preferred, but not a requirement.
• You are able to work independently and proactively.
• You are solution-oriented and like to find sustainable solutions based on indirect evidence.
• You are eager to learn and you are prepared to develop technical skills within this area.
• You have good communication skills towards both external and internal parties.
• You are capable of working in multidisciplinary teams, and you have excellent knowledge of the English language both orally and in writing.
• Fluency in English and Spanish are a plus, English is a requirement, Spanish is desired.
