ABB is seeking a Supply Chain Manager - Mechanical for its Belton, South Carolina location. You will be providing customer service for our Tigear and Quantis products.


Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Lead and develop DBT material organization.

• Manage Raw, Wip, and finished goods inventory levels.

• Manage inventory for product additions and changes.

• Ensure inventory accuracy above 98%.

• Responsible for on time performance and fill rate measures.

• Responsible for shop floor scheduling and customer service.

• Responsible to maintain competitive lead times.

• Responsible to meet material cost reduction targets.

• Responsible for shipping and receiving and the warehouse.

• SAP / BUS experience preferred.


Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED AND 4 years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.


• Associates degree AND 2 years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.


• Bachelor’s Degree.

*A Master’s Degree in required field = Credit given for 2 years of work experience.

*A PhD/Doctorate in required field = Credit given for 3 years of work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ Degree in Supply Chain or Business is preferred.

• APIC certification or knowledge.

• Lean certification.

• Management (supervisory) experience.

• Strong interpersonal skills.
