BU Sales Area Sales manager LVIEC

As the BU Area Sales Manager for IEC Low Voltage portfolio in the RM Division for the BU Motors & Generators, Marketing & Sales, in the Region of North-Europe, covering the Scandinavian Countries plus UK. You will be responsible to support the local sales units in the implementation of the sales plans, facilitate the growth plans, ensure that the local sales units are able to successfully convert sales opportunities and increase their hit rates and profitability, and that they have the relevant knowledge of products, markets, prices and the competition. The position involves travel as an integral part of the work.

Tehtävät :

• Responsible for delivery of the BU and PG orders and end-2-end margins in the LSU(s) in your area. Working closely with the respective BU regional sales manager and PG global sales manager to ensure that the budget requirements are met for the PG.

• Proactively anticipate and identifies shortfalls in performance and takes appropriate remedial action with the LSU(s).

• Responsible for implementing the BU strategy through the LSU(s). Drive follow up and execution of the respective BU strategic initiatives for your area and maintain the dashboard accordingly.

• Identify and evaluate opportunities with existing and potential new customers and channels in your LSU(s).

• Execute customer acquisition plans (LSU Sales Plans) in conjunction with BU regional and PG global sales managers. Support global frame agreements at respective LSU(s).

• Assist with the front end budgeting process in the LSU(s) and ensure it is in line with PG’s expectations and is realistic.

• Assist the PG global sales manager in price positioning for your product lines in the LSU(s) and provide front line price support to the LSU(s) to help them to secure profitable orders.

• Assist in the creation of monthly orders forecasts for your area based upon SFDC pipeline and knowledge of LSU(s) opportunities.

• Work with LSU(s) to support them in converting opportunities to orders on a daily basis. Active follow up of top pursuits; what can we do to help win this opportunity.

• Ensure that the LSU(s) have the right products for the industry segments in focus at the right prices with the right lead-times to allow them to be successful. Work with the PG global sales manager to correct if this is not the case.

Vaatimukset:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong experience of IEC Low Voltage Motors (> 5-7 years) in marketing, sales and customer relationship management
• The ability to think strategically and analyze customer needs
• Experience of supporting a front end sales operation
• Working experience with different cultures in order to have sensitivity on cultural behavior
• Networking, social, team builder, result and customer oriented; assertive but also flexible
• High desire to delight our customers; outside in thinking
• Leadership skills & experience; supportive; able to coach & motivate
• Having hunger for business & result making; willingness to travel, anticipate ~80-100 days per year
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, plus Swedish is an advantage
