Tehtävät :

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager at ABB Oy, Transformers unit in Vaasa. You will participate in sales strategy discussions and create sales plans for the assigned area. In this position, you will be analyzing customer needs and competitors’ offers based on general market information and ABB’s databanks, and with the help of local sales organizations.

Your responsibilities
• Communicating the value propositions of ABB’s products, systems and services for transformers
• Supporting local sales organizations and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions
• Providing technical support in technical meetings, product presentations and negotiations
• Defining sales prices based on market prices and cost calculations
• Entering and maintaining sales and customer information into ABB’s sales tools and CRM systems
• Conducting review meetings for customer opportunities and kick-offs (hand-overs for projects that have been won)
• Providing after-sales support in resolving customers’ issues and first-order analysis

Vaatimukset:

• A B.Sc. or M.Sc.in engineering or business administration
• A few years’ experience in a relevant position
• Good skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English

Ideally, you have
• Good written and spoken skills in Finnish and Swedish
• A basic knowledge of electrical systems, and especially of transformers
• Skills with Salesforce
