As the Regional Process Manager, Sales Operations for the ABB Power Grid Division (PG), you will implement and operationalize the PG marketing and sales processes, sales support infrastructure, market intelligence and sales training in Northern Europe. You’ll also apply operational excellence methodologies and provide solutions and services for all marketing and sales units of the PG Division, Business Units, and Product Groups in accordance with ABBs Business Mission and Values.

Tehtävät :

People and Training: The Regional Process Manager, Sales Operations ensures the development of a proper network throughout the Sales & Marketing country organizations, factories and engineering centers to enable a long-run, structured, and sustainable process mind-set within the sales teams. You will also be responsible for carefully driving and ensuring behavioral change according to OpEx standards. You will also support the deployment of the PG sales training and certification program in the region.

Deployment, Applications and Systems: At a regional level, the Regional Process Manager will support the implementation and communication of the PG sales processes, such as the demand-side budgeting process. You will also proactively monitor and strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency, and you will assist the division in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. In addition, you will monitor the compliance of the sales teams in the region with required standards for maintaining data in the PG sales tools.

You will also provide advice to the software development team when requested. You will also evaluate the aims and targets of new functional requests, assess the overall value, and translate this into a business proposal for implementation in the sales tools. Another important responsibility will be to evaluate the fulfillment of new functionalities and improvements, review the implementation, and ensure that functionality conforms to business needs in the region. Lastly, you will ensure that there is effective communication and updates on issues related to tools’ development and new functionalities across the region.

Market Intelligence: The Process Manager is responsible for the deployment and distribution of common sales reports and market intelligence essential to the PG sales community in the region. He or she will recommend revisions to existing reports and assist in the development of new reporting tools as needed. You will also support the deployment of KPI’s and monitor sales performance, e.g. productivity, channels, and sectors.


The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Science, Business Management with focus on Operations, or related fields – or the equivalent work experience. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5-6 years’ experience working in a Marketing and sales organization and with internal and/or external consulting experience.

To be successful in this role, you should have broad and deep knowledge of theories, tools and practices in business improvement, project management, and change management. You should also have good knowledge of IS applications and application integration, as well as possess the ability to conceptualize solutions.

The Regional Process Manager needs strong collaboration and networking skills coupled with strong analytical and systemic problem-solving skills. You also need to be an effective informal leader and communicator who can lead by influence and also guide, coach and mentor others.

It is required that you are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Any other languages are an added advantage.
